This Honda Insight is a combination of luxury and efficiency.  Honda chose a 5-door Sedan configuration for the second Insight. The wedge-shaped body assists aerodynamics and reduces drag for improved fuel economy. The 4-passenger accommodations enhance marketability and the overall vehicle shape, as Honda puts it, is “clearly identifiable as a hybrid. Unlike some hybrids, the battery pack does not affect cargo space because it’s tucked underneath the rear seats. The hybrid powertrain makes more power — and gets better mileage — than the Accord’s base engine. The Honda insight maintains a very good resale value.
